Steven Gerrard

Steven Gerrard is an English football player who plays on the Premier League in the Liverpool Football Club and in the English national team. He is usually employed in a central midfield role or a second striker. Gerrard, who has spent his entire career at Anfield, made his debut in 1998.


He was born on 30 May in 1980, in Whiston, Merseyside. He started playing out for "Whiston Juniors", where he was noticed by Liverpool scouts. Nowadays, he measures 1,85 meters and he weighs 83 kilograms. He was only played in the team of his life: Liverpool F.C.


When he is nine years old, he joined to the Red's youth academy Liverpool. He made his Liverpool first-team debut on 29 november 1998 against Blackburn Rovers F.C: 479 match and 120 goals. He made his international debut against Ukraine national team on 31 May in 2000: 72 match and 14 goals. Since 2003, Steven is the captain of Liverpool.


Steven Gerrard and Alex Curran, his wife, are married in Buckinghamshire on June 16 in 2007. In 2006, he wrote an autobiography.
